The Football Hall of Fame WA was fortunate enough to be invited to the recent Glory In Business Lunch amidst the spectacular surroundings of the Astral Ballroom at Crown Perth. An initiative of Perth Glory, the session facilitates a networking opportunity for the A-League clubs’ close partners as well as those wanting to assist their aims of being sustainably successful.
“I thank Perth Glory for their kind invitation to attend their first business networking lunch since the COVID-19 lockdowns,” said Hall of Fame president Elizabeth Re, who attended along with committee member Vince Matassa. “It was a terrific opportunity to congratulate the new Sports Minister, Dr Tony Buti, who is very supportive of the objectives of the Hall of Fame and the improvement of sporting facilities across the State.”
Hon. Dr. Tony Buti MLA, the Minister for Sport and Recreation, delivered the keynote speech in which he considered the future landscape of sport in a post-COVID-19 WA. Glory coach Richard Garcia took part in a question and answer session while several A-League and W-League players and staff mingled with attendees throughout the lunch.
